It is an association of like-minded individuals, providing a focus for general physicians with a broad range of skills and experience to meet in a collaborative forum and maintain skills and knowledge essential to the field of general medicine. Membership Types

Full Member

Full membership applies to fully qualified physicians who have obtained their FRACP status (or equivalent) in the field of General Medicine.

Join – Full Member

Trainee Member

Any Basic Trainee or Advanced Trainee (as defined by the RACP) is eligible for membership as a Trainee Member.

Join – Trainee

Associate Member

Any registered health care professional, including nurses and pharmacists, practising in general medicine, acute medicine, or chronic disease, not otherwise meeting the criteria to become a Full, Trainee, or Pacific Associate Member, is eligible for membership as an Associate Member.

Join – Associate

Pacific Associate Member

A medical practitioner resident in the Pacific Islands who is recognised as a consultant physician, or who is enrolled in a recognised physician training programme, is eligible for membership as a Pacific Associate Member.
