Organisation
| Staff: |
12 Physicians practising within General
Medicine. A number also practice within a subspecialty. General Medicine
unit also comprises Clinical Pharmacology and Acute Peri-operative
service. Very close association with Infectious Diseases as well. |

Trainee Responsibilities in I.M.

One evening per week and one day of
weekend on 1 in 6 roster |
| Workload in Medicine Units: |
Workload is moderately high - we admit all undifferentated
patients to Gen Med. Good relationship with emergency and sub specialty
units. Shared bed ward with cardiology |
| Teaching Responsibilities |
Undergraduate teaching on weekly basis, post graduate
FRACP trainees on a regular basis under direction of DPT |
