This position is for advanced trainees either finishing or starting their advanced training.
The job is flexible and we can arrange clinics that the trainee would like to do eg thyroid, endocrine, diabetes, neurology etc. There is also research opportunity, physiology, autonomics, syncope and time can be protected for this.
The acute medical call is 1 in 6.
The run arrangement is usually 3 four month rotations. Christchurch is friendly and the supervisors are excellent.

Training Positions

Number of Training Positions: Two types of training
A 12 month senior Gen Med position with opportunities for teaching, research and admin as well as specialty clinics and 1-2 evenings oncall per week (3 available).
A standard Med Reg rotation which consists of 3 x 4 month runs, 1 in 6 call and limited clinic/reseach/audit opportunities which is more suitable for more junior advanced trainees (6 available)
