Physicians Week - Sydney

17 - 20 May 2009
Once again IMSANZ is joining with the Adult Medicine Division to create a three stream program for the RACP Physicians Week Congress. Details will be posted on the IMSANZ and College websites as soon as details become available. The AMD/IMSANZ program will be run on Monday 18 and Tuesday 19 May 2009, at the Sydney Convention Centre.

ACM 2009 – Clinical Course in Acute Care Medicine

Clinical Course in Acute Care Medicine & Special focus symposium on Laboratory and Imaging in ACM

The Department of Medicine in Eastern Clinical School, Monash University and Eastern Health is pleased to announce the 4th annual ACM Course – Clinical Course in Acute Care Medicine & the Special Focus Symposium to be held in Box Hill Hospital, Melbourne.

This is a course specially designed to up skill HMOs, Registrars, Fellows and Consultant Physicians in the Pre-ICU Clinical Management of the Acutely Ill.

The ACM course attracts about 150 HMOs, Registrars and Consultant Physicians from Australia , NZ and the Pacific. The Course runs for 2.5 days and includes Lectures on topics of practical relevance and the hands-on ACES – Acute Critical Event Simulation skill stations on the vital aspects of caring for an acutely ill patient.
