Emergency Department Management Course

This will be an intense 5 day workshop involving local and international experts. It will be focused on ED management, however experts from other health fields will augment the faculty. The course content has been developed from workshops held in Europe, US, South Africa and Canada.

The workshop will involve pre-reading, self assessment, expert presentations on practice and theory, simulated scenario-based training, breakout sessions and much, much more.

Missioncraft in Disaster Relief Operations Short Course - Feb 2012, Melbourne

20 - 24 February, 2012


This 1-week intensive workshop presents best practices for health personnel in international disaster relief operations. Missioncraft is the art and science of preparing and conducting field operations. The workshop is offered to medical and public health professionals who deploy to acute disasters as full-time, field-based, hands-on providers. It aims to enhance skill sets required for leadership roles such as organizational team leader, or medical coordinator. It is not intended for medical tourists.
