IMSANZ VIMG Lecture Programme
The Victorian Internal Medicine Group brings together the directors of
physician education and directors of General Medicine departments
throughout Victoria. The VIMG education series is coordinated by a
group of early career physicians and trainees.
In 2021, IMSANZ partnered with the Victorian Internal Medicine Group (VIMG) to support the VIMG lecture programme for Advanced Trainees in General Medicine undertaking training in Victoria. This was a new initiative designed to be a collaborative effort aimed at clinical education, information sharing and promoting contacts among those working in the field of internal medicine across Victoria. This collaborative approach continued throughout 2022.
In 2023, the Victorian Internal Medicine Group continues to grow with a fortnightly education series. These sessions are hosted by the General and Acute Care Medicine
Advanced Trainees and Consultant Physicians throughout Victoria.
